Step back in time in our 1950's railway carriage where you can see display material on the local area and trails. North York Moors National Park Authority have kindly helped with the displays. Read about the history of the Whitby / Scarborough railway line which since it's closure in 1965 is now used as a coastal cycle trail with stunning views along the coast which you can't get from the car. You can even sit in a an old railway carriage compartment & read all about it - why not bring along your Harry Potter book - filming took place close-by!
