Refreshments

Ancillary to Trailways is our delightful tearoom in the Old Station Waiting rooms. Open at various times throughout the year ...it's great when you've just finished the bike ride to refresh with a cup of tea and a piece of homemade cake. A selection of fine freshly ground coffee's are available and if you have worked up an appetite then why not order something cooked from our extensive menu. Join in at Breakfast ...if your staying in the Trailways accommodation it's a great change from having to cook your own!

Whatever the time of year, there are things to enjoy in our elegant tea room. In the winter, you can warm yourself on our wood burning stove and take in some of the nostalgia from what was once a frequently used railway station with a hot chocolate or cofee. In the summer months you can enjoy a nice cool drink and an ice cream out in the sun next to the carriages while you admire these marvels of machinery and look and the stunning landscapes and rolling hills that fall away into the distance.
